摘要

The combination of the calciothermic reduction and simultaneous electrolysis of CaO in the molten CaCl_2 (so-called OS process) was applied to the metal production of Ti and V. The pure Ti and V containing about 4000 mass ppm oxygen was successfully obtained by controlling the supplied charge to form Ca efficiently. The Ti-Al-V alloy powder was also produced from the mechanically mixed oxides, and the distribution of metallic components could be homogenized by sintering after removal of the solidified CaCl_2.
