In order to provide large embedding capacity while maintaining the quality of image, a new scheme is proposed which enhance the existing scheme of data hiding. We propose a scheme which combines the concept of logical exclusive-OR operation and run length encoding (RLE) proposed by Chang et al. The scheme exploits the redundancy feature of the data stream. Hence, fewer bits are required to represent the given information. The experimental result shows that our scheme removes the constraint of smooth bit stream from the run-length approach while maintaining the image quality.
