Study on the Diversity of E-Commerce Ecosystem and an Example

Ecosystem theories have been applied in several domains. As the E-Commerce is a kind of business, we can use the business ecosystem theory in the researches of E-Commerce. However, the researches on E-Commerce ecosystem are far beyond mature, which only in the stage of metaphor. This paper builds the framework of E-Commerce ecosystem, which puts up a foundation for the future researches. Then the framework of an ecological characteristic - diversity has been built, which introduces the researching content and aspects of diversity in E-Commerce ecosystem. At the same time, the evolution of E-Commerce ecosystem has been described on the basis of complex systems.
