摘要

A facultative anaerobic bacterium strain LY-3 was isolated from lack silt. According to its phenotypic,physiological and biochemical characteristics as well as the phylogenetic analysis based on the sequence of 16S rDNA,it was identified as Citrobacter sp..Cyclic voltammetry experiment showed that strain LY-3 was electrochemically active.Eelectricity was generated from microbial fuel cell reactor,the anode compartment of which was inoculated with cell suspensions of strain LY-3.
