Development Strategy for Requirement of Internet in Engineering Teaching of Regional Higher Education Institutes of PRC

摘要

Through combination of several colleges and universities, many regional higher education institutes (RHEIs, mainly be regional university) are founded in china from 2000. In those regional higher education institutes, engineering school becomes more important in industrial economy, and the quality of teaching and learning should be improved in those RHEIs. This study analyses internet-based teaching and learning issues at regional higher education level and efforts to devise a strategy as solution to those issues. Using the normative Delphi method, we discussed internet-based issues and get that internet integration in regional higher education need to be in lined with proper strategy in order to get their true benefits.
