1. Wind research will continue for the next 2 years to establish the wind resource. 2. FIT Contracts offer $190/MWh for offshore projects (compared to $135/MWh for onshore projects). We believe this offshore project will be financially viable. 3. Toronto Hydro believe this offshore project will provide meaningful emissions reductions (200 MW class project would displace appx. 575,000 Tonnes CO_2 annually). 4. Community involvement is crucial; we are open to community investment via co-operative model. 5. Toronto Hydro are seeking development partner(s).
