Further Advances in Use of Polymer Process Aids to reduce Material Cost

Leveraging the ability to load high filler levels in compounds with polymer process aids, we were able come up with highly loaded formulations for quality rubber products, in particular molded goods, without compromise to quality. Various formulations were tested and compared against conventional recipes without the polymer process aids. The results show the prospect for reducing costs of most products, especially in a lower labor cost country like India, to levels that these products would become highly competitive both in domestic and international markets. This paper will illustrate the findings with recommended recipe.
