This paper uses an agent-based modeling approach to investigate the impact of one person on the population's genome. A reproductive simulation was created using NetLogo?. Everyone in the population is given a unique tendigit identifier to represent their DNA coding. Males and females mate, create two offspring, and die. The offspring's identifiers are a function of their parents. A census of the population’s ten-digit identifiers was recorded periodically. Another simulation was run with the same initial conditions, except the starting position of one male. Results show that one individual can change the genetic structure of the world's population.
