Status Quo of and Countermeasures for Gas Outburst in Coal Mines of China

摘要

Based on some typical cases of coal and gas outburst and on historical outburst data in coal mines of China,according to the joint consultationabout safety production on 45 state-owned and particularly monitored coal enterprises held by experts and according to the analysis report of accidentshappened in 2006,we analyzed all those accidents of which each one at least 3 miners were killed,indicating that 1)the outburst of coal and gas becomemore and more serious,2)the existing countermeasures for preventing coal and gas from bursting are not in the place at all,and 3) the township coalenterprises are the heavy disaster area for coal and gas outburst in China,which are the major cause for frequent accident of coal and gas outburst.Inaddition,we also put forward nine proposals for preventing coal and gas outburst,such as strengthening supervision,raising the admittance threshold forsafety production of coal mines,and so on.
