The Statistical Analysis and Construction of Indicators System for the Quality of Residents' Life

A set of indicators system were constructed that evaluated the quality of residents' life. It was conducive to measure and evaluate the quality of residents' life accurately. It was also a basic scale and an important standard for evaluating the degree achieving the objectives of residents living. The basic characteristics of the indicators system for evaluating the quality of life were synthetic, which was a combination of interacting and jointly effect of all the aspects. The current evaluation for the quality of life was not only containing many indicators, but also could not remove the overlap information between the indicators, and also could not do clear distinction between the diagnostic index and the resulting indicators. According to the problems existing in the current evaluation for the quality of life, a set of indicators system that evaluated the quality of residents' life was constructed, using total integration method and produce integration method from seven economic and non-economic aspects which contain the residents' consumption, health, education, social security, environment, social services and social welfare. The study of the evaluation systems constructed for the quality of residents' life of China scientifically reflected the essence of the quality of residents' life, and could evaluate the quality of residents' life better. It had a broad application background.
