@@ Introduction Previous researchers have demonstrated that information provided to the performer regarding the quality of movement production known as knowledge of performance (KP) is essential to motor skill acquisition. However, little attention has been directed to investigating the effect of different types of KP and pre-performance cognitive activity such as cue rehearsal on skill performance and learning. The present study was designed to examine two different types of KP and cue rehearsal activity on the acquisition and transfer performance of a sport skill.
