A Study of Software Development Method Based on the Design Flow of Mechanical Product

Computerized design of mechanical product is the hot topic which is studied by mechanical designers and experts of computer, according to the characteristic of ordinary mechanical designers and medium-sized and smaU-sized corporations, and the reality of mechanical industry in china, this paper researches the characteristic of popular user' demand. In order to decrease the cost of software development and threshold of technology, combine mechanical product design with artistry of software development, exert design experience and protecting technical secret, This paper presents a software development method based on the design flow of mechanical product through the study on the characteristics of mechanical product design and software development, and elementary investigation is conducted in the analysis method of mechanical product design flow, selection of tools of software development and the basic technique of softwarization of mechanical product design etc.. The problem of applying Visual Basic to softwarize the design of mechanical product on the platform of WINDOWS and CAXA or AutoCAD is studied. The analysis method of software design scheme is given. The research result of the paper has great practical value to the design of mechanical product and softwarization of the process.
