In the paper, the influences of carbinol, ethanediol and triethanolamine on the performances of liquid anti-freezing agents of concrete were investigated. The experimental results showed that carbinol, ethanediol and triethanolamine can improve the saturated solubility of sodium sulfate at -5°C to +5°C, and the solubility-increasing effects of carbinol and ethanediol are more than that of triethanolamine;the extents of carbinol and ethanediol,especially ethanediol decreasing the initial flow and flow retention of cement paste added with liquid anti-freezing pumping agents are lower than that of triethanolamine;the compatibilities of carbinol and ethanediol, especially ethanediol with cement are better than that of triethanolamine;among three organic anti-freezing ingredients, the anti-freezing effects of carbinol and ethanediol, especially ethanediol are stronger than that of triethanolamine, and triethanolamine can still decrease compressive strength ratio R-7+28 and R-7+56;although triethanolamine is an effective organic accelerating admixture, it is not an effective organic anti-freezing admixture.
