Up to date, the function of sheep beta-dcfensin 1(sBD1) is still unknown We used a leal-time RT-PCR method to detect the expression of sBD1 and sheep IL-8 duiing Salmonella enterica infection in digestive tract Salmonella enterica infection were performed by part of jejunum injection and taken by mouth, the results showed Significant upiegulations in expression of sheep IL-8 However, the decreased changes in expression of beta-defensin 1 were observed. We conclude that beta-defensin 1 was lack of upregulation during 5 enterica infection undei these conditions.
