摘要

Zirconia is approximately 2.5 times more abundant than ceria in the earth’s crust and it is produced throughout the world. For catalytic applications, researchers are searching for replacements for rare earth elements, due to their more limited and increasingly controlled supply. In this contribution, zirconia was modified by adding a dopant in order to improve its O-mobility property and test its behavior for a number of reactions of interest.
