The Transformation of Zhejiang Industry Clusters under the Concept of Circular Economy

Zhejiang industry clusters played a crucial role in promoting the regional economic development, but it also caused many ecological problems. Based on the comparison between industry clusters and eco-industry parks as well as the advantage analysis on Zhejiang industry clusters, the author argues that, eco-industry zone is an effective solution to transformation of industry clusters to reach the ultimate goal of zero emission or zero pollution under the circular economy concept, and a number of suggestions are put forward to support the transformation of Zhejiang industry clusters.
