Wet Deposition of Radon Decay Products and itsRelation with Long-Range Transported Radon

摘要

It was shown by a series of observations of wet deposition of radon decay products atNagoya, Japan that extremely high deposition rate events were associated with convectiveprecipitation under presence of continental air mass aloft. Atmospheric transport simulationsshowed that the high deposition rate events were caused by continental radon transported within arelatively thin layer from 1 to 3 km above sea level.
