摘要

The aim of this paper is to present the construction and the validation of the predictive analysis procedure used by Rieter Automotive to design heat shields of embossed aluminium with respect to their vibration performance. The procedure is based on the pragmatic description of embossed aluminium stiffness properties. The finite element modelling procedure put in place enabled us to significantly improve the reliability of design with respect to constructor specifications for the first modal frequency of embossed aluminium heat shields.
