PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method for easily dividing a structure, in which a side of a second surface member is combined with a first surface member into finite elements, without causing mismatching of nodes at the combined portion using an existing program.;SOLUTION: A single body of the second surface member is divided into finite elements, in advance; a cross line generated, when the side of the second surface member is combined onto the first surface member, is formed; the nodes generated on the side of the second surface member are plotted on the cross line and the first surface member is cut out along the cross line; while dividing the plotted nodes onto the both sides, when adopting a finite element method to the structure in which the side of the second surface member is combined with the first surface member. The first surface member is divided into the finite elements, in this state, with the cross line with the second surface member being recovered, by combining the divided nodes by closing the cut out portion and the side of the second surface member is coupled on the cross line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
