High Temperature PEMFC Based on Acid Doped Polybenzimidizole Membranes: Durability Issues and Recent Progress

Thank you, Mr. Chairman, for the introduction. I'm happy to have the opportunity to stand here and share this story of the polybenzimidazole (PBI) membranes. My co-authors are Jens Oluf Jensen and Niels Bjerrum, with whom I've been working together in the last 15 years, and PBI is one of our successful subjects. I would like also to thank Dr. Huth from Volkswagen, who made a nice introduction yesterday about PBI and presented some very interesting results. (Figure 1).
