The relations between J integral and CMOD are investigated for cylinders under internal pressure with an internal axial crack in order to find simple mathematical dependences, which would enable to calculate J integral if CMOD value is known. It is considered linear-elastic, elastic-plastic and fully plastic regime. Linear relations are found in linear-elastic and in fully plastic regions, while in the elastic-plastic the second order polynomials in CMOD are obtained if crack depth a/H is fixed and the pressure is variable. The dependences of the ratio J/CMOD on crack depth a/H are parabolic for H/R, 1/10, while for H/R_i=1/10 a linear regresion is obtained. Al relations are characterized by high correlation coefficient values.
