Applying Contextual Processing to Traffic Signal Control Systems

This paper introduces using contextual processing with traffic signal control systems. The discussion begins with the basic concepts of coordinated traffic signal systems. The discussion continues with a basic overview of contextual processing and its application to the basic concepts of signal control systems. The conclusion of this paper discusses future work on this concept and provides an overview of the advantages contextual processing can apply to traffic signal control systems.
