Collaborative Reverse Engineering by Using a Web Portal

摘要

The future engineering teams will work in a Web-based collaborative environment, where designers, process planners, manufacturers and even clients can communicate and coordinate through Web portals. In this paper, a suggestion is given, based on ideas of the collaborative design, applied on a reverse engineering project of a cordless hand drill and supported by the Web portal.
