摘要

Este trabalho discorre sobre o processo de redesign do Portal da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, conduzido no ambito da Superintendência de Informática da Institui??o. Utilizou-se abordagem de design participativo, incluindo usuários no processo de design, por meio de técnicas de prototipa??o de interface, aplica??o de questionários, mapeamento de personas, além de navega??es exploratórias para detec??o de problemas na interface. A página foi avaliada antes e depois da interven??o de design na interface, com usuários internos e externos à Institui??o, que validaram de acordo com critérios enfatizados na pesquisa: (c1) percep??o de valor do conteúdo, (c2) encontrabilidade, (c3) desempenho e (c4) densidade informacional. Os resultados iniciais apontaram para aumento nos níveis de satisfa??o dos usuários com rela??o aos critérios estabelecidos, de satisfa??o parcial para satisfa??o plena.+++++This paper discusses about redesign process on website interface of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. It was applied the participatory design approach, that involved the users in the design process, through the next techniques: interface prototyping, surveys, personas, also the exploratory navigation to detect interface problems. The website was evaluated before and after the intervention on its graphical interface, with users from the institution and external to, that evaluated according to criteria proposed for this research: (c1) content value perception, (c2) findability of content, (c3) performance and (c4) informational density. The first results obtained point to increasing of the full satisfaction levels of users about the research criteria, in comparison to partial satisfaction levels.
