摘要

Using a hot wire method, thermal conductivity of the CaO-SiO_2-B_2O_3 system was measured. Higher boron oxide concentration resulted in both increase and decrease of thermal conductivity, depending on the basicity of the slag. It was inferred that different states of B_2O_3 in the molten oxide resulted in the conflicting effects on thermal conductivity. The results of Raman spectroscopy verified that borate and silicate structures affected thermal conductivity.
