Impact of Supply Chain Management Practices on Organizational Performance and Moderating Role of Innovation Culture: A Case of Pakistan Textile Industry

In today's competitive environment, the role of innovation is getting more popularity in organizations. Innovation and Supply chain management (SCM) play very important role for getting a competitive position in global environment. The study aims to investigate the impact of SCM practices on organizational performance through the moderating role of role of innovation culture. Data for investigation were collected through field survey from Pakistani textile industries and total response rate was 86% (236/275). Current study employed the Smart-PLS Analysis technique for data analysis. The results showed that SCM practices have significant impact on organization performance. However, the moderator makes the relationship stronger among SSP, CR, LIS, LIQ, ILP and organizational performance. While the innovation culture significantly moderates the relationship between SCM Practices and organization performance. In the era of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) the findings of current study provide insights into Mangers regarding how to improve the SCM projects for getting more benefits from ongoing projects. Further research can formulate additional measurements for practices of internal supply chain like quality management, supply integration and competitive advantage as a moderator.
