Study on project team effectiveness from the angle of system management

摘要

Since 1990s, the phenomenon of high failure rate of projects has triggered researches into features and actions of project teams and team members. Focusing on project team effectiveness (PTE), the article analyzes the functioning process of PTE and classifies system composing factors of PTE into four factors from the angle of system management: organization management factors, capability management factors, culture management factors and performance management factors. Besides, by synthesizing the system functioning process and system composing factors of PTE, the article puts forward the coupling model of system composing factors of PTE. Innovation points of the article lie in the following 3 aspects: 1) The article innovatively identifies feedback-correction process of PTE and points out that feedbacks and corrections jointed by project milestones: offer an effective support for the advancement of PTE which is a unique feature of the functioning structure of project team compared with other types of teams; 2) From the angle of system forming process and continuous advancement of PTE, the article puts forward classification method of system composing factors of PTE which has made researches into PTE systematic, dynamic and manageable; 3)By comprehensively putting forward the coupling model of system composing factors of PTE, the article has offered a theoretical foundation and structure for the systematic study of PTE.
