The discussion will center around understanding statistics without the use of any Greek alphabets or formulas. Appropriate quantitative data will be used to discuss applications of the concepts. Concepts of probability and the normal distribution, the central limit theorem and the empirical rule of statistics, concepts of process capability and its importance in process control and simple hypothesis testing will be discussed in this presentation.
