A Windcube LIDAR system has been deployed and tested in Northern Finland during winter time. The site is in the Finnish Lapland, 200 km north from the Arctic Circle. In this work data achieved during this measurement campaign are shown together with the comparison with the nearby mast data. All the analysis is made focusing on how the system behaves in such a climate and how arctic conditions affect remote sensed data.
