UK Offshore Wind Energy: A vision for industrialisation

The UK now has the largest installed offshore wind capacity in the world and its lead will increase over the next few years with likely 20-25GW installed by 2020. The scale of the multi-GW Round 3 developments presents an excellent opportunity for UK industry to expand into this market and capture some significant value. This poster assesses the size of the market and determines the industrial opportunities open to the UK. It presents a vision for the coastal facilities required and the number of jobs that may be created.
