摘要

A chemical composition and structural parameters of specially preparedcatalyst for the pyrolytic synthesis of carbon nanomaterials have been studied byX-ray diffraction, Mossbauer spectroscopy and electron microscopy. A plenty ofchemical transformations in the catalyst have been monitored. The inert (Mg_(1-x)F_xO)and active, very fine particles of the catalyst (MgFe_2O_4) components which areinvolved in the process of carbon nanofibers were revealed.
