INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION IN COORDINATION CHEMISTRY RESEARCH

It is a great problem for some researchers in many developing countries to do chemistry research, mainly because of lack facilities to do characterizations. Some of them that graduated from fully facilitated Universities may have a chance to contact and communicate with their professors, but some of them are busy with their teaching jobs and forget to do their own research. This situation will reduce the teaching qualities and hence lower human resource capabilities. International collaborations with some sophisticated institutions could be an excellent way out to solve the problems. In this talk, the International collaboration between ITB-Valencia in syntheses and characterization of Inorganic coordination compounds will be described. Beginning with the innovative ideas, literature supports and technical measurements, the collaboration has been grown well and produced quality postgraduate fellows.
