摘要

A novel strategy, design and organization of an interdisciplinary engineering discipline, taught atUniversitat Politecnica de Valencia (Spain), are presented and evaluated in this paper. The main goalis to improve the learning process increasing the student’s activity and motivation, while enhancingprofessional skills using the Information and communications technologies (ICT).More dynamic and active methodologies are proposed in this strategy, applying didactic techniques ascase method, implementation of real (simplified) projects and group work with digital tablets andsimulators, promoting a bigger approach to the real engineering world.The application of the mentioned techniques pursues to develop in the students the abilities that theywill need in their professional future as “to know how to make” and “to learn how to learn” using thenew technologies, facilitating students' employability.In the present paper the diverse didactic techniques used in the Classroom 2.0 with virtual tutoringand laboratories are analyzed, justifying their election. Finally, the conclusions of our experienceapplying this methodology in the European Higher Education Area are presented.
