(329)COMPETENCE FORMATION IN PERFORMING ARTS LEARNINGAN EDUCATIONAL APPROACH FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OFTHE VISUAL STUDIES

The European Space for Higher Education (ESHE) represents, as well as a new framefor the management of university level education, the opportunity for tackling theredefinition of methodology, procedure and results of the learning process. One of themost innovative aspects of the new education projects conducted within the EuropeanSpace for Higher Education is the focus in the acquisition and development ofcompetences by the student in teaching-learning processes, under the logic of aproactive idea of them. The “competence” concept, according to the Counsel of theEuropean Parliament makes reference to a dynamic combination of knowledge andabilities, acquired or developed by the student along its learning process. Thesecompetences should enable to understand, know how to act and how to be in certainsituations, both throughout the working career and the personal and socio-emotional live.
