The poster present the Profile of Graphomotor Skills, which we have developed, in the context of studies conducted in Poland, illustrating developmental and pathological phenomena. This instrument contains the Chart of Assessment of Handwriting and Letter-like Designs and the Observation Protocol. The experimental version of the Chart of Assessment of Handwriting and Letter-like Designs covers the following categories of description of products of graphomotor activities: I. THE WRITING LINE, II. LETTERS/ LETTER-LIKE DESIGNS, III. LETTER IN A WORD/ THE STRUCTURE OF A LETTER-LIKE DESIGN, IV. THE WRITING OF A TEXT/ LETTER-LIKE DESIGNS, V. VERSE ORGANIZATION, VI. ORGANIZATION OF THE PAGE. These categories form a system that indicates the direction of analysis and assessment of the samples obtained: from particular phenomena to overall ones, retaining the structural ordering of a text/letter-like design, and gradually broadening the perspective of examination of phenomena. In the list of categories we show the normative phenomena that determine the successful learning of graphomotor activities, as well as tbghe handwriting/drawing mistakes and developmental phenomena reflecting the process of graphomotor skills acquisition. The present article illustrates the phenomena by presenting handwriting samples of pupils aged 7-13 years and showing typical graphic mistakes at the same time. When constructing the diagnostic technique and carrying out empirical research, the psychological, linguistic and logopedic competence of the project authors was utilized.
