摘要

Although so many polymeric membranes for gas separation such as oxygen permselective membranes have been studied and used in practical, they showed trade-off relationship between their permselectivities and permeabilities.1 In other words, membranes showing high permselectivity tend to have low permeability because they are separated mainly in diffusion process. To obtain membranes having high permeabilities keeping high permeation rates, membranes having high permselectivities and thin thickness should be developed. Recently some inorganic membranes having extremely high permselectivities have been reported and they are reported as molecular sieving membranes. However, since they were not made from soluble molecules, it is difficult to discuss relationship between permeation performances and membrane structure in molecular level.
