摘要

The minisymposium "Recent advances in numerical methods for inverse problems resolution" is devoted to new methods in mathematical treatment and numerical solution of Coefficient Inverse Problems (CIPs) via the lateral data at the boundary of the domain to be investigated. Such problems are occurred in many real-world applications - from non-destructive testing of materials to the medical optical imaging. For example, in inverse problems of the theory of elasticity we seek for the elasticity parameters and density. When solving an electromagnetic inverse problem one need to determine the tensors of dielectric permittivity, magnetic permeability and conductivity. In inverse acoustic problems we seek the velocity of wave propagation in the medium and its density, and so on.
