Monte Carlo Simulation to Propose Improvements of an Alkyd Resin Process

摘要

This paper reports findings of a study of a batch chemical process using simulation. A model of an alkyd resin plant is presented and used to carry out improvement studies, to evaluate changes in plant operating conditions. With the proposed changes, in the simulation studies, productivity could be improved to around ten percent.
