LibraryThing, Shelfari, Anobii and the Others: Are Book Social Networks Suitable for Astronomy?

This paper discusses the transition from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0, providingexamples of both, with particular regard to Social Networks. The focus will be on BookSocial Networks and their main features. Data and evaluation of the examined BookSocial Networks will be provided, along with pros and cons of their suitability for usein astronomy libraries.
