In this paper, the graphical electromagnetic computing (GRECO) method combined with an interface that can identify and read IGES files is presented. Graphical electromagnetic computing (GRECO) is an effective method of predicting the radar cross section (RCS) of complex targets, but there must beforehand be a model file from which the shape parameter can be easily obtained. Based on the GRECO method, the Non Uniform Rational B-Spline surfaces (NURBS) modeling files generated by several geometric computer aided design programs through the IGES standard (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification) could be converted to the type fitting for the RCS calculation. Combined with IGES files import, the GRECO method's application range is extended.
