Design Potential of Solar Panels as New Building Elements - Focus on Historical Listed Buildings

Photovoltaic modules (solar panels) are new building products. Numerous analysed example projects prove that they are used also when building with monumental protected buildings, every now and then accompanied by serious formal changes of the appearance. The analysis of these projects points the design potential out of the building-integrated photovoltaics. At the same time it refers to the development need with innovative solar panels.
