Geogrids are widely used as the reinforcement material in geotechnical engineering fields. In this study, a series of creep tests on two types of geogrids are conducted in the laboratory under different combinations of applied loading levels and environmental temperatures. Based on the test results achieved experimentally, comparative analysis are performed to discuss properties of isochronous curves and creep curves of geogrid, then a hyperbolic-type constitutive model is proposed for geogrids and the procedure for determining the model parameters based on creep tests is presented. Finally, effects of applied loads and temperatures on the hyperbolic model parameters are examined.
