Student Expectations and Good Lecturing in IT Education

摘要

In this paper, authors discuss about the composition of student expectations, especially in IT education. These students expectations are classified on the basis of classification of customer needs into classes like stated needs, unstated needs, real needs, delightful needs and secret needs. The authors would also like to highlight the challenges & situations faced by teachers in the classrooms. To deal with these problems, plan of action and certain theories are proposed. The authors believe that "first lecture" is very important in dealing with students of this generation.
