Granulated Metal/a-C Films Deposited by Shielding Arc Ion Plating

摘要

Performance of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell application is influenced by many aspects. One of critical problem is high-ohmic resistance which occurs between electrode and polymer electrolyte membrane (1). Conventional manufacturing processes of fuel cell using spray, press bonding and brushing methods has its limit. Conductivity itself can be improved through depositing electrode directly on polymer electrolyte membrane using PVD method.
