摘要

Following the Functional Virtual Prototyping principles and using VHDL-AMS language and tools, we have built a models library describing the heart and cardiovascular system main elements. We model and simulate the heart implanted with a new generation of pacemakers, applied to Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT). Pacemaker architectures exploration, algorithmic and energetic optimizations can now be tested virtually, with unequaled simulation performances.
