摘要

The reasonably high saturation magnetization at room temperature and a Curie temperature, T{sub}c, around 373K exhibited by nanocrystaline Mn-Zn ferrite enable it to be considered as promising candidate for magnetocaloric pumping applications. The magnetocaloric pump needs to operate close to T{sub}c where temperature changes can produce significant demagnetization and, then, a significant pressure gradient to provoke the movement of the fluid bearing ferrite nanocrystals.
