Since the Finemet (FeCuNbSiB) nanocrystalline soft magnetic material was discovered by Yoshizawa et al [1], more nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials have been developed, such as Nanoperm type and Hitperm type [2], and they have found a wide application in industries. Recently, there is an increasing interest in studying on the electromagnetic (EM) wave absorbers due to their wide application in anti-EM interference coating, microwave darkroom and stealth technology [3-6]. However, the application of nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials in developing electromagnetic wave absorbers has not been exploited yet. FeCuNbSiB nanocrystalline is an excellent soft magnetic material with the Snoek's limit in GHz range [7], showing a potential application as an EM wave absorber with resonance absorption frequency in microwave range.
