摘要

Porous solids are of scientific and technological interest because of their ability to interact with atoms, ions and molecules not only at their surfaces, but throughout the bulk of the material. Porous CaSiO_3 ceramics doped with Fe~(3+) and Ni~(2+) ions (1, 2, 2.5 3 and 5 rnol percent) have been prepared by solution combustion process by mixing respective metal nitrates (oxidizers), fumed silica. Diformyl hydrazine (DFH) is used as a fuel. The combustion products were identified by their XRD and TG/DTA. Single phases of beta-CaSiO_3 and a-CaSiO_3 were observed at 950 degC and 1200 degC respectively.
