Pulsed EPR of Spin-Labeled Biological Membranes and Embedded Peptides

The applications of different approaches in electron spin echo (ESE) spectroscopy to study molecular dynamics and supramolecular structure of model phospholipids membranes, with and without embedded cholesterol and antibiotic peptides, are described. Echo-detected spectra from two-pulse ESE are used to detect rapid angular librational motions, with tau_c < 10~(-6)s.
