摘要

We investigated sucrose and L-alpha-alanine radicals produced by heavy-ion irradiation with various LETs (linear energy transfer). The impact of the heavy ions on the samples produced stable free radicals, which were analyzed by EPR (electron paramagnetic resonance). Identical spectral intensities were measured after one year. The obtained spectral patterns were the same as those for helium (He), carbon (C), neon (Ne) , silicon (Si) ions, and y-ray irradiation.
